FBA pricing from: https://shorturl.at/GQXAy
Receiving: The truck arrives with one pallet of your goods, we open the bay door, receive, store the pallet, I send you a picture of the shipment and make sure it is all there and the timer on your storage for this item begins. The price you pay for our work as of this point is only $10.
Storing: The pallet sits in our warehouse for a month and a half and I receive a notification via you (if selling independent of any common site) or via my software otherwise that 10 orders of your product have been bought. The price for this length of storage for one pallet would be $20 + $10= $30 (rate is daily prorated). This would be the price you would pay if the pallet was completely depleted. But since in this example it was not, the timer continues on the pallet and you will just be billed by month for it's storage until it's depletion, or if it gets very low and I am able to combine it with another pallet of yours. Again that is $20/month per pallet.
Shipping: I create the shipping labels, print them, take pictures of each package, and schedule whichever mode of shipment is the cheapest unless customer requested otherwise. Picking and packing 10 products would cost $3 each (less than 2.5 cu feet) or $10 for oversized items (greater than 2.5 cu feet or 15 lbs). When the shipment truck arrives, we load up your shipment and off it goes to your customer. The price for this action is $3 (assuming standard items) x 10 = $30 and I pass on the shipping cost to you. *$3 per item includes our labels, boxes, packaging materials, and of course labor, most companies will split this up making pricing more confusing and more expensive.
Total cost for our services in this example would be $10 for receiving, $30 for storage, and $30 for fulfillment= $70!
